The 2024 Graphic Medicine Conference being held in Athlone, Ireland has as its theme Draíocht, the Irish word for magic.
In this year’s conference, we will explore the myriad ways that comics spark imaginations and creativity to demonstrate different perspectives about health, illness, caregiving, and disability.
